Pattern Basics
This pattern is of medium difficulty.
You should have some experience with doing cables, know how to increase & decrease, and be able to follow basic knitting
instructions.
Suggested Supplies
I used fine fingering weight yarn for this project. For Tyler I preferred the
result of using "Palette" from knitpicks.com. The brown sweater is made from "Comfy" from the same site, but seemed
to be a bit larger and looser. Palette is wool & has 231 yards in a 50 g ball, while Comfy is a cotton acrylic blend
with 215 yards in a 50 g ball. My
gauge in stockinette with size 0 needles was 20 stitches & 26-27 rows.
You will need knitting needles in sizes 0 & 000 (2 &
1.5 mm), fingering weight yarn, matching needle & thread, 6 size 4/0 snaps for closure, and a yarn needle.
