This pattern which will be emailed
to you in PDF format, includes written instructions for a lacy tank top designed specifically for Helen Kish's Riley,
with a bonus pattern for Bitty Bethany.
These tops are my own original design. Several variations are given
in this pattern--there are three different kinds of lace, with instructions for larger needles (0 and 000) or smaller needles (000
and 00000). You can also choose whether to finish the top with shoulder straps or neck ties.
HARD TO DO?
This is a great small project for experimenting with lace.
If you can knit, purl, and do decreases and yarn overs (yo), you've got the skills you need to knit the tank top.
Suggested Supplies
The tank tops were knitted using needles
in US sizes 0, 000 & 00000 (2mm & 1.5mm). The tanks were knit with lightweight crochet cotton (US size
10).
Finishing is done using a small crochet hook (US sizes 9-14).
BONUS PATTERN
I've also included instructions to make a matching tank top for Bitty
Bethany, which will also fit Heidi Plusczok's 10.5 inch Candy dolls.
