ITEM DESCRIPTION

This pattern, which will be emailed to you in PDF format, includes written instructions for "Beautiful Braid," a four-stranded braid cable sweater, knit neck-down for Ellowyne Wilde (or Tyler).

 

This pattern is my own original design.  Specific instructions are given for your project to become a variety of things--a knitted dress, or a long or short-sleeved sweater.

 

This project requires minimal finishing.  You knit the turtleneck first, then knit the sweater from the neck down.  The only seams required are the underarm seams.  The sweaters have a "self-ribbing" back edge as well.  A fun-to-knit, beautiful project.

 

 

Suggested Supplies
Ellowyne's dress and sweaters were all knitted using needles in US sizes 0 & 000 (2mm & 1.5mm).  I used KnitPicks Palette, an inexpensive fingering weight wool yarn available from knitpicks.com. 

Finishing is done using needle, yarn & thread.  I recommend using 5-6 sets of small snaps for the back closure.
