Twisting Trellis Pattern Description

Sew-Cool Separates Presents. . .
"Trellis & Twists"
Trellis & Cross-Over Cables Sweater
A Pattern for Ellowyne Wilde

***Note***--This pattern was revised from my "Trellis & Cross-Over Cables" Sweater pattern for Tyler in my Amazing Arans book.  I lengthened the sweater, created a new cabled turtleneck design, and added side shaping specifically for Ellowyne's torso.  Finally I tested the pattern several times and expanded the instructions for more clarity. It's not a completely "new" pattern, but it has been revised to fit Ellowyne perfectly.

ITEM DESCRIPTION
This pattern, which will be emailed to you in PDF format, includes written instructions for "Trellis & Twists," an intricate Aran Turtleneck designed just for Ellowyne.

This pattern is my own original design.  Specific instructions are given for two types of sleeves--the cross-over cable pattern shown above, and the regular cable pattern shown below.

This is a complex project, but the finished product is a detailed sweater with a front trellis bordered by cables.  A special feature of the pattern in the way it perfectly hugs Ellowyne's curves.

Suggested Supplies
Ellowyne's cabled turtlenecks were both knitted using needles in US sizes 0 & 000 (2mm & 1.5mm).  I used KnitPicks Palette, an inexpensive fingering weight wool yarn available from knitpicks.com, and I've also used Dale Baby Ull.

Finishing is done using needle, yarn & thread.  I recommend using 5-6 sets of small snaps for the back closure.

Item Basics
This purchase includes the PDF version of my knitting pattern for an Aran Cabled Turtleneck for Ellowyne--it includes specific instructions for two different looks.
