Lovely Lopi Pattern Description
Sew-Cool Separates

Sew-Cool Separates Presents. . .
"Lovely Lopi"
Icelandic Yoked Sweaters
Plus Bonus Hat/Headband Pattern
for Riley Kish (the PDF Version)

Item Description
This pattern booklet, which will be emailed to you in PDF format, includes visual charts and written instructions for Icelandic Yoked Sweaters--officially called "Lopapeysa" sweaters.  These have been designed by me specifically for Riley. They are knit from the neck down with increases at the raglan seams.

There are three "patterns" of yokes included--"Hearts" and "X's & O's" as shown in the picture above, and "Dots" as seen in the picture below.  Each sweater is knit in four colors--a main color, two shades of a highlight color, and white or cream.

I've also included a bonus pattern for Riley's hat or Zsu Zse's headband.

Suggested Supplies
Riley's sweaters were knit with size 000 and 00000 needles (or size needed to reach appropriate gauge--for me that meant switching to size 0 needles for the Fair Isle yoke area) and fingering weight yarn such as Palette from knitpicks.com.  Riley's "Dots" sweater was knit using Garnstudio's "Drops" Alpaca yarn.

You will also want a small crochet hook (US sizes 7-10 are all appropriate) and four sets of small snaps for the back closure.

Item Basics
This purchase includes the PDF version of my knitting pattern for three different styles of yoked Icelandic sweaters for Helen Kish's Riley doll and a bonus hat/headband pattern.
