Sew-Cool Separates Presents. . . "Intricate & Icelandic"
Yoked Fair Isle Sweater
A Knitting Pattern for 14" Kish Chrysalis Dolls
Lark, Wren, Raven & others
ITEM DESCRIPTION
This pattern includes the PDF version of my written instructions and chart for "Intricate
& Icelandic," a fair isle yoked sweater, knit neck-down for Helen Kish's 14" Chrysalis dolls.
This pattern is my own design, inspired by a sweater I found in a JC Penney's advertisement.

One of the reasons I love this pattern is that it has the lovely look of fair isle without all the yarn
ends to work in. You knit the turtleneck first, then knit the sweater from the neck down. The fair isle design
is finished before dividing into the sleeves and body. So the only seams required are the arm and underarm seams.
Another advantage of
only having fair isle on the yoke is ease of dressing--there aren't any loose loops in the sleeves for catching on fingers.
Instructions are also included to make a matching hat.
Suggested Supplies These sweaters and hats were knit using
needles in US sizes 1, 0 & 000 (2.25, 2 & 1.5mm). I used Palette and Essential Sock from Knitpicks.com.
Palette is an inexpensive fingering weight wool yarn and Essential sock, though slightly more expensive, is very
soft.
Finishing is done using needle, yarn & thread. I recommend using 5-6
sets of small snaps for the back closure.

I will email the pattern to you on receipt of payment. I check my email throughout the day during the week, but response
